This little guy is just so sweet. I loved getting to hang out with him and his parents. And his mom has super great decorating tastes! Their house was just the perfect place for his newborn photos. I know that Abe's parents are going to be fantastic at this whole parenting thing. Thankfully his daddy knows just how to sing him to sleep. <3
Yes, I'm behind on blogging. I know. But I am still taking photos, just in case you were wondering. I met up with these cuties a couple of weeks ago. These grown sisters wanted to give their daddy a photo session. Such a great gift! The expressions on this baby just crack me up.
These might just be my most favorite family photos that I've ever taken. Seriously. The colors, the light, the beautiful faces... And yes, I know there are more of the little guy than his brother and sister. I usually try to keep things fair around here, but I know that since he's child number three, there might not be as many photos of him. Plus, I just couldn't help myself.
This sweet momma is the director of the preschool that my kids attended. She has poured so much of her time into my three youngest kids, I just can't even tell you. It takes a village and she's been part of mine. What an honor to know them and capture these photos for them!
This is Jack's second session in his baby plan.* He and his sister are both little cutie pies! And their parents are just about the most relaxed parents I've ever worked with. So refreshing!! I'm looking forward to capturing this little guy as he learns to walk. Maybe the next session...so exciting! Thank you guys for allowing me the opportunity to watch your little ones grow.
*If you're interested in purchasing a baby plan for yourself or a loved one, shoot me an email and I'll get you the details. It's a good deal.
Send me a message to book your holiday mini session. One day only. Limited spots.
This wonderful family lives right across the street from us! They help us populate our street with lots of kids. There are times when there are 13 or more kids playing outside on our street at the same time. It's been an honor and privilege to live near these guys and call them friends. Here's to many more years of sitting in lawn chairs in your driveway, yelling "CAR!!" every few minutes. :-)
I had so much fun on this session. I love being around families who truly enjoy each other. And as a mom of young kids, it does my heart so good and fills me with so much hope, to be around families with older children who are such good friends! Thank you guys for making me smile so much that my face hurt.
These little ones grew up a bit over the last few years...
And they gained a precious little brother. Amiee and Jason, you guys make beautiful babies!
Is it really only 11 weeks until Christmas? Did I count wrong? It can't be! I have a few spots open for Fall family photos. If you want cards and photo gifts in time for Christmas, now is the time to book! If you book AND pre-purchase your gallery CD by October 15th, you will receive 25 FREE custom holiday cards. This offer will not be available after October 15th. So to sum it up, that's a one hour session, gallery CD with rights to print, and 25 custom holiday cards for $550, plus tax.
And just for fun, here's our family card from last Christmas. :-)
It was really important to these kiddos (adults) to get one last family session in before they left for college. I love when people value family photography, even if the kids aren't little anymore.
This little angel is just too sweet for words. And there just couldn't be a more precious family for her to be born into. They have lived out such hope, faith, and grace for all to see. I'm honored to call them friends. And the next time I get my hands on little Savannah it will be to just sit and breathe her in. Sweet girl, I am so glad you are here. Ms. Jenny loves you.
This little one wins "The Most Cooperative and Outstanding Two Year Old in the History of Ever" Award!! She was seriously so amazing!!! It's not secret that two and three year olds aren't always the *easiest* little people to work with. So I'm always kind of mentally prepared for whatever mayhem may arise, but Abigail was just so wonderful!! And it's been an honor to get to know her parents. They're just cool folks!
This session was before Christmas. Yes, I know... Anyway, the weather was not great and I have been wanting to take pictures here at out local Arts and Sciences Museum. This ended being a great place for the boys to play and explore. I love what we were able to capture!
And he's this same little guy a year ago. It's hard to believe how much they change in a year. Happy birthday, sweet boy!
We had so much fun taking these photos. We laughed until we cried. Most years it has been near torture to try to get photos for our card. This year, we decided to make it fun. I LOVE how it turned out.
I think this is the 6th birth that I've photographed and it was totally my favorite because this little guy is our new nephew!! It was just such an honor to be there and be able to help tell his birth story through pictures. I had a hard time narrowing it down for this post because I just want to share them all!! So anyway, meet our new nephew, Oliver. He cleans up pretty nice.
I don't typically work with families with older children. Not because I don't want to. I think it's just difficult to talk teenagers into family photos. And many parents don't really think of doing family photos once their kids aren't little anymore. But with their son heading off to college, it was important for these guys to remember this time. And I just LOVE these photos!
This sweet girl in these photos just stole my heart! I think she is stunning! And what makes a beautiful girl even more beautiful is when she doesn't seem to be aware of her beauty. Miss L... you are so beautiful! I hope you can see that in these photos. Thanks for humoring me and your mom so we could capture these.
I met up with these guys during the week of Thanksgiving. They are a funny bunch. I saved some of the more silly ones for their private gallery. It's got to be a crazy house with four boys! And now one of those boys is engaged and will soon be getting hitched. I hope you love the photos, guys. It was so fun hanging out with y'all.
This is seriously one of the cutest families I know. I loved working with these guys. I love the colors, the smiles, the personality. I love everything about these photos. And now that we're several weeks out, I can say that these photos were even worth getting chiggers for. That's right...me, my son, at least three of the folks in this family all got chiggers from rolling around in that grass! Itchy itchy!
I met up with this cute family a few weeks ago for some fall photos. The boys were great and we got some really cute stuff!
And since I didn't get around to posting any of Jake's newborn photos, here are a couple of favorites from that session.
And just for fun, here are a couple of Luke's newborn photos. What do you think? Do they look alike?
I took these quick photos of us last night to hang on the wall in my new office! So excited! I can't wait to get these on the wall and take photos of my new office for the world to see!
