For the last week or so Phillip and I have been working on a new website to replace this blog and my current website. Because my previous website (as lovely as it may be) is flashed based, it can’t be viewed from iphones, ipads, etc. So I now have a new blogsite that includes blog posts, galleries, pricing info, and all that cool stuff. I’d love for you to check it out. I’m very excited about it.

We are still tweaking a few little things, but for the most part it’s ready to go.

Also, some things that are changing is that I will no longer be selling prints. That’s right… I’ll be selling digital files only, plus ad on specialty items. My clientele has gradually moved to about 90% digital file sales in the last year. I’ve honestly never had a lot of fun ordering, sorting, and packaging prints so I’m glad to let that go. I hope my loyal clients will see the value in owning their full resolution digital files and stick with me anyway.

Still trying (unsuccessfully) to catch up on blogging. I’m excited to announce that a new website/blogsite are in the works. I’ll be ditching this blog and my current website. It’s time for something new. But enough about that….Here’s the BEATUTIFUL Sonia! I had so much fun working with her. She is a very talented photographer herself and I know she will do great things. She is determined, strong, and not afraid of taking on new challenges. You can see it in her eyes. Sonia, thanks so much for allowing me to do your senior pics.

Did you know that if you choose to pre-purchase your gallery, which is usually 45-75 imges, on CD that I will waive your $100 session fee?? Did you know that?? I think it’s buried somewhere on my website. If you trust me enough to know that you’ll want the entire gallery on CD, which you will, then I knock off the session fee. So $550, plus tax gets you the session and your entire edited gallery with signed release on CD to print as you please.

BUT…if you don’t trust me enough to buy it up front when you book, then you gotta pay the $100 session fee plus the $550 to get the CD. More and more people are choosing the purchase the CD so they can have the entire collection of images. Personally, I think it’s a pretty good deal. But what do I know?

Also…here’s a favorite picture that I took yesterday of our girls. We can’t show their faces until their adoption is final, which will be some time in September.

Yes, the seniors have graduated and I still haven’t blogged MANY of their photos. Maybe I should go to a once a month collective blog post.

Anyway…. Andrew! He is such a great young man. Sweet, polite, easy going, cute… Here are a few of my favorites. Congrats on your graduation, Andrew. I have no doubt that you’ll make your mom and dad proud.

So I met up with Gabby about two months ago for her senior pictures. Eeek! So behind on blogging. Anyway, she is great fun and so strikingly beautiful. I’ll never forget her session as long as I live because I left my most expensive lens sitting by the train track while we drove to another location a few miles away. I’m a dope. Anyway, I recovered my lens and Gabby was so understanding and patient while I went to retrieve it. AND…her pictures turned out awesome, I think. Congratulations on your upcoming graduation, Gabby.

Oh, Jessica! Such natural beauty! I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Jessica this year. Funny, clever, bright, genuine…just such a sweet young lady. I love these photos of her. I wish you luck as you go on to college, Jessica. I know you’ll make your folks proud!

Here I am, behind on blogging yet again. I’m trying to catch up. Promise. I took Zach’s photos a few weeks ago. He is a great guy and so much fun to be around. Just a truly genuine person. His momma (a friend of mine) has done a beautiful job raising him. Here are a few of my favorites from Zach’s session.

I met up with Hayden last week for some senior photos. He’s so easy going in front of the camera. Just a complete natural. That’s not all that typical with senior guys and men from my experience. We had fun and I think we got some shots that really capture Hayden’s fun personality and cute cute smile!

So when you adopt a child through CPS you’re not supposed to post pictures of them online. Do you have any idea how hard it is for me to not post pictures of these beautiful girls on my blog?! So occasionally on this blog, but more on our family blog, I just post lots of non-identifiable photos of the girls. And that’s just what I’ll have to do until their adoption is final, which will hopefully be in July or August if things go like we predict. Anyway, here are a few of our almost three year old daughter, Brittany. She’s a mess. You can probably tell even though you can’t see her face.

If I were going to adopt another kid, which I’m totally not, it would be this girl! Our whole family just loves her. Everyone who meets Jamie loves her. She’s just super cute and genuine. And she’s also got a lot of shoes!
