Some of you may wonder what I do with my time, other than photography. Some of you have asked if I have another job. I do indeed have another job, and it is the best job ever. This is my second year homeschooling our oldest son, who is eight. And we also have a three and a half year old who still holds the crazy award. You can see more pictures and read more about them here, on my personal blog.

On Saturday these lovely folks came to my house for some pictures. They got to try out my “studio” which is really just a big living room with good light and some cool furniture in it, but I can call it a studio if I want to. Anyway, little Cooper is so adorable and her family is so excited to have her and excited to show her off. Big sister, Kendall is doing a great job of showing her the ropes.

Oh man, I am so excited to share these pictures!! Paige is so beautiful and her smile… WOW!! I loved hanging out with her for these pictures. She is just such a sweet girl.

Here are just a few new card design options that I have available this year. I’ll be posting a few more in a few days. If this year is anything like last year and the year before that and the year before that, I’ll begin to fill up pretty quickly for Christmas and family photos. Please don’t try to wait until the last minute. Book your session soon or you’ll miss out. October and November are usually very busy months for me.

Hayden – Striking features and a penetrating gaze. I would say he’s just a hottie but his mom might drop kick me.

Jessica – Timeless, classic beauty with the most stunning green eyes and sweet smile.

Last week I had the honor of meeting and spending some time with this beautiful family. Siblings, cousins, grandparents…they all gathered together to witness and celebrate the baptism of this sweet little boy.

Before the baptism I met with them at their family home and I was surrounded by all these beautiful children. So many precious faces.

Then we went to the church for the baptism. Like I already said, beautiful.

I’m so excited to share these pictures. I just love them. This couple is somewhat reserved but still totally fun and unique. I really hope these photos capture the spirit of Sonya and Aaron’s wedding day as well as their personalities. Thank you guys so much for allowing me to be a part of your day. It really was an honor.

Just look at this beautiful little boy! And not only is he beautiful but he wins the cooperative toddler award, hands down. He was soooo good and so cute! His parents are pretty great too but goodness… would you look at those eyes on this boy! It’s been a while since I’ve photographed a toddler and I was reminded all over again how much I LOVE working with this age.

I met these lovely folks out at their home in Jones Creek for pictures a few days ago. The plan was to take all of the pictures there. But…the mosquitoes had other plans so we took off to the beach on a whim to get away from those awful things.
