I don’t think I’ve put any pictures of my kids up here in a while. They do not like me taking pictures of them. Not at all. I guess that’s typical for most photographer’s kids. My youngest especially doesn’t tolerate it. Here are a few I manged to get today. There are a few more on my personal blog.

That one of Mikey on the right is so awful…and so funny. He just wasn’t feeling it.

This morning I got to photograph this little guy at our new house. This was the first session in our “formal” living room that will be doubling as my studio. This first picture is one my husband took so you can kind of see the setup. Nothing fancy but it works. I have a small backdrop and will be getting some furniture soon to use for small sessions.

So this next shot is the one I was taking when Phillip was taking that shot of me. Little Tyler is such a precious little boy and his parents and big sisters are very glad that he’s here to love on.

I had the honor of photographing this lovely little evening wedding a few weeks ago. This wedding was so beautifully done and it just felt very intimate and personal. One of the little flower girls sang their first song and then two of the flower girls danced for the bride and groom. It was just perfect and so sweet.

I met these two a couple of weeks ago for engagement pictures. They are so cute together even though Matt is like two feet taller than Angela. Okay, maybe not two feet. Here are a few of my favorites from their session. I’m excited about photographing their wedding in January.

I want you to meet Patrick. You may remember his mommy’s maternity pictures back a few months ago. I mentioned then that Patrick would have some challenges ahead of him. It has been about eight weeks now since his birth and he is still in the NICU. He has made great strides to going home but he has also has a few setbacks. He’s kind of in the middle of a setback right now and he needs people to call upon the Great Creator and Healer on his behalf. God hears the prayers of his people. I believe that. So please lift up Patrick and his mom and dad, Lindsey and Matt. I finally got to meet him last week and get these pictures of him. He just completely stole my heart. We all want so badly for him to get better and come home.

So here I am again…behind on blogging! BUT…did you know that we got a new house?! So I’ll just use that as an excuse. Anyway, I was able to photograph this new mom a few weeks ago. Her twins were born two weeks ago and are doing great in spite of being a little early. They will make their appearance on this blog before too much longer.

Okay I have to give a shout out to my friend Karen McCown, who makes the most creative and beautiful cakes in Brazoria County! It’s a fact. Trust me. Her new business is called The Uncommon Cakery. Here are a couple of her cakes that I have seen (and tasted) in person and they were simply perfect. Tyler is on the way!! Hooray!! I totally can’t wait to meet this little guy! He won’t be able to help being crazy cute. And I’m so lucky to be able to capture him in all of his cuteness when he arrives.

I met this sweet boy at his house with his parents a few days ago. It took him a little while, but he finally decided to go to sleep for us. He is just such a beautiful little baby. Just look at those perfect little lips.

You may remember this blue eyed young man in these pictures. I took Mathias’ senior pictures a couple of months ago. And before he heads off for college his folks wanted to get in a few family photos. We had fun out at Varner Hogg…especially when *someone* decided to hang off of a tree branch that wasn’t quite sturdy enough. Oops.
