This family needed to get in one more photo session before they moved out of the great state of Texas. We went to one of their favorite parks to capture some Texas memories of their kiddos before they left. I’m super happy with how these photos turned out. Just in case you didn’t know, toddlers can be a bit of a challenge to photograph, but if you can get them interested in doing something they love to do, it usually works out.

So I know I said in my previous post that my days of posting lots of pictures from each session might be over. But… I just can’t help it!!! Now that I feel sort of caught up, I couldn’t help posting these on here. This is such a precious family (even though the daddy has been known to dress like a woman). I’ve been taking pictures of them since Kendall was still in her mommy’s tummy and now she’s 3!! Hard to believe. Anyway, enough rambly stuff. On with the pictures from their session.

Ahhh…such pretty girls. I’m pretty sure they get it from their momma. ;-)

So just to show you that I HAVE been working, I think I’ll just post a favorite from all the sessions that I’ve totally flaked on blogging about. And really all of these sessions deserve their own blog post with lots of photos, but this four kid thing is kicking my butt a little. I think the days of blogging 13 or more photos from each session are kind of gone. So anyway, here’s what I’ve been up to since like October, other than getting used to having four kids and homeschooling and going a little bit insane.

And maybe after I finish with this post, I’ll feel a little less guilty and sleep a little bit better.

But seriously, I’ve been so blessed with so many amazing families and so many wonderful opportunities. My cup runneth over…like a lot.

I’ve been around. We’ve just been VERY busy. We’ve been very busy because we just bought a minivan…

We just bought a minivan because we just got two little girls! We’ll be fostering to adopt them. They are Mikey’s biological sisters.

I’ve got lots of sessions to blog about but given the latest additions to our family, I just don’t know if I’ll get around to it at all. I will continue to take photo sessions, but I won’t take as many as I used to. Because, well… I’ve got a lot of other things going on right now.

Phillip and I had the honor photographing this sweet couple’s wedding day on Saturday. These are just two of the kindest people I’ve ever met. And they had a huge show of support at their wedding so there must be a lot of other people who think they’re awesome too. The ceremony was just beautiful and all in all, it was a perfect day. Thank you guys so much for allowing us to be there to capture it for you. Here are some wedding day highlights. Enjoy!

I can’t believe I totally forgot to put up these pictures. I meant to do this a while back. I’m such a dweeb. Anyway, our friend Karen McCown, with the help of her charming husband, have started The Uncommon Cakery. And let me tell you… their cakes are absolutely perfect. Here are a couple that I saw in person and they taste as good as they look. These guys have a website in the works, but in the meantime, you can check out their facebook page.

I love Downtown Freeport for photos. There’s such a variety of colors and textures. It’s definitely one of my favorite areas in Brazoria County to use for photos. I met this sweet family in Downtown Freeport last week for some family photos and I just LOVE the result. These guys are friends of ours and it’s been so great to not only get to see these kids grow and change, but it’s been such an honor to be able to photograph them along the way.

For fun, here’s Mr. Caleb when he was fresh and new.

And here’s the big boy and his family now. He’s still got the cheeks.

I had the honor of photographing these friends and their beautiful girls a few days ago. These girls are growing up practically like sisters, and they all love hanging out and playing with each other. Just proof that you don’t have to be related by blood to be family.

These guys are friends of ours and they’re just really cool folks. I’m excited to be able to share their photos. I love how they have turned out. I think they really capture the love they have for each other. Little “E” is just so precious, and her parents are pretty smitten with her.
