Yesterday morning I had the honor of photographing the adoption for this precious girl and her family! It was so cool!! It’s been almost two years since we were in that same court house raising our right hands and vowing to be Mikey’s forever family. Sweet, sweet day. And yesterday morning just brought it all back. Julie is so precious and her family is thrilled to have her…forever. And her daddy just couldn’t stop smiling about it. I love these pictures!

Kasey’s session was different than many of the senior sessions that I have done. And I am so glad! It’s great when people have ideas that will help to make their picture their own! This was my first time to a gun range and my first time to have a gun actually pointed at me. But it’s cool. It wasn’t loaded. So here are a few of Kasey and his awesome dog, Duke. Duke was so nice to come show me his “dead duck.”

This Sunday I participated as a vendor in a bridal show. This was the first bridal show I’ve been in and it was a great experience for me. It was pretty small so not much pressure. I talked to a lot of brides and gave out lots of (AWESOME) cards. So we’ll see what happens. Hopefully this bit of exposure will lead to some weddings in the near future. Here are a few pictures of some of my displays. These pictures are just from one table. I also had a slideshow going but I didn’t really get any good pictures of that.

I love these folded business cards. They were a big hit!

I totally intended to do another blog post with more pictures from Megan and Charles’ wedding. But then the Christmas insanity happened and I just didn’t do it. But here is a slideshow of some of my favorites.

Okay so I said I would post Laura’s bridals and I’m so excited to finally be able to do it. It was hard keeping them to myself for the last few weeks. This girl is just stunning. See for yourself!

You may remember this post of this beautiful family. Saturday night was Laura and Dustin’s wedding and it was so much FUN! Phillip and I really enjoyed spending the day with them and all of their friends and family. So rather than bore you with my words, I’ll just let you look at some of the wedding day highlights.

I met with this fun family on New Year’s Eve day for some family pictures. They were all together for the holidays and thought it would be a great time to get some large group pictures. And these two precious souls are the ones who started it all!

I love meeting couples whose love has stood the test of time. And these two have passed on the importance of love and family to their kids and grandkids. It was such a privilege to hang out with these guys and capture their beautiful family.

What can I say about these two without getting all gushy and grossing everybody out? Well, I can say that we love them. Like crazy. And we’re so glad their part of our family. This is Phillip’s brother Josh and his gorgeous wife Ashley. We spent the weekend hanging out with them in Temple, TX. They were long overdue for some pictures so we took some time in Salado to take some. And trust me, you just can’t fake this kind of love.

And this guy is Quintze. That’s right, Quintze Hintze. He’ll have to do until we have new nieces and/or nephews to spoil rotten.

So I’m great with kids and babies. I’m even pretty good with teens and men most of the time. But dogs…not so much. But I had a lot of fun with this family. We’ve known these guys for years and they’re just great folks. Jim pretty much brings a smile to my face every time I see him. I had a session this afternoon with Jim and Dixie and their dogs Oscar, Sam, and Sadie. Here are some of my favorites.

Now I don’t usually include outtakes in blog posts unless they’re of kids but I just couldn’t resist putting the last two up. Jim and I both have the mindset that it’s better to ask for forgiveness later than ask for permission now…or something along those lines. Anyway, they totally crack me up. I think Jim “messed up” as many shots as the dogs did. Love you, Jim!

I love this one…

And probably my two favorites… In the first one Jim was trying not to laugh at my train noise.
