Is it still officially fall or is it winter yet? Anyway, it’s beginning to look a little like fall here in south Texas. And I totally love the colors in these next pictures. And these colors just happen to surround a beautiful family. These kids were made to be in front of a camera. Goodness gracious!! And this young man is probably one of the most cooperative and easy going kindergartners I’ve ever met.

The beautiful red hair belongs to big sister Kaleigh and the big eyes belong to baby brother Kaden. Kaden, as you can see, doesn’t really have any hair. I met these two and their mom and grandmother this morning for some family pictures. I’ve got so many favorites from this session but I’m saving my favorite favorite for last. Okay, I lied. It’s really second to last. I just love the one of Kaleigh holding Kaden up above her!

These two kids are beautiful! And I know Allan might not appreciate me calling him that but seriously, take a look for yourself.

See…told ya. Oh wait, there’s more to prove my point.

I met up with this cute family Sunday afternoon. Saturday was a nasty day so we decided to move these guys to Sunday. It was a beautiful day for pictures. You know, there are some shoots that I really have to work and I leave sweaty and dirty and there are some that are just really easy. And this family was just very easy going and easy to photograph. I guess it probably helps that the “kids” are much too old to try to throw stuff at me or run away from me or cry or anything crazy like that.

I really love photographing siblings. I love seeing how much kids favor each other or favor one or both of their parents. It’s just cool. And I love the pictures of this family. These guys were so much fun to hang out with and photograph this morning. I am reminded so often how blessed I am to do this job and this morning was no exception. This is just a beautiful, fun family!

Did I say I love this job already? Yeah, I love this job.

This is a really cool family we’ve had the privilege of knowing for a while. We met Sunday evening out at Varner Hogg. The weather was perfect out there and these guys are just a lot of fun to hang out with. And sometimes, just hanging out and being together is a gift. And while Jim might look uncomfortable in this picture, I bet you he wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world!

I met these gorgeous kids Saturday evening at “Out Under the Trees.” These first two kids are brother and sister and they genuinely seem to really be fond of each other. I also met their beautiful little baby cousin. Kyle and Mattie loved hanging out with and holding baby Emery. They are so cute together. I had fun hanging out with you guys!

And we decided that Emery needed a few with her mommy and daddy too.

This morning I met this sweet family out at their home out in the middle of nowhere country. Not only did I get to photograph three of the cutest kids ever but I also met their bull. Not to self: flip flops and cow pastures do not mix. But I had a great time with these guys. I went to high school with their parents and taught the boys in preschool back when they were little bitty. So it was cool to reconnect and see how their family has grown. So as you can tell, these kiddos are silly, silly, silly… and so cute.

This little man is quite a ham. I think I could probably do an entire post just of pictures of him. Maybe I’ll save that for another day when I need some new material.

This family is blessed with FOUR pretty little giggly girls! See what I mean?

They are so beautiful and super well behaved. And the little one, Miss Zoe is probably the easiest 2 year old I’ve EVER worked with. Isn’t she just the cutest thing!

And the rest of her family is pretty darn cute too.

And quite possibly my favorite….
