**Okay, I might not be spelling Aiden right. I’ll come back and update this post if I’m spelling it wrong.**
I met with the cutest family this evening for some maternity/family pictures. Mom and I went to high school together and were in the marching band together. She was beautiful then and she’s even more beautiful now with a baby on the way. I think Mom was probably supposed to be the star but Ryan kind of took over. He is probably the easiest to photograph 4 year old that I have encountered yet. He was just so amazing for the camera. This kid may have a future in acting or modeling or something. He takes direction so incredibly well. WOW!! And he quizzed me on Star Wars trivia. I think maybe I passed. Anyway, I totally love these pictures. And as weird as it seems, I’m jealous because I want some cool pictures of my family. If only I could get pictures like this with my boys. (Sigh…) Anyway, here are some of my favorites.

Here are just a couple of pictures of this little cutie pie that I met a couple of weeks ago. Her family calls her “The Bunny.” I think it suits her.

These folks all gathered together to celebrate the christening of little Miss Katherine (I’m sorry if I’m misspelling her name). So while they were all in town, they decided they should get some pictures and I’m so glad they did. It was too wet to do much stuff outside so we had to settle for some indoor stuff.
This first picture cracks me up. Is it “perfect?” Probably not. Is it endearing and memorable? I think so. Look at the expression of the little man on the left. I think that’s so funny. That little guy is one of my kids at the preschool I teach at. He’s a total ham and so is his look alike brother.

Three long-time friends.

The whole gang.

Katherine in her christening gown.

I got attacked by a robot, I think. I’m not totally sure what was shooting at me but I was terrified, let me tell you.

And I talked these lovely people into sitting in the wet grass for me.

I did a family session this evening at a local park. This is a really cool park that I wasn’t even aware of. I think I’ll be taking my boys there in the morning. Anyway, this is this family’s favorite park and they just played and I basically followed them around. I think sometimes photographing children is probably kind of like photographing wild life. These two kiddos are so pretty…yes, even the boy. Boys can be pretty too. Some favorites….and the last one is my favorite favorite.

See, I told ya he’s pretty.

These two sets of siblings decided they should get together for some pictures for their grandparents for Christmas. Or their moms decided these guys should get together for some pictures. Either way, we had fun and got some great pictures. I am sure their grandparents spoil them rotten. I mean, who couldn’t? Look how cute they are! And my favorite….the last one. Love it.

These guys are so cute and they were so much fun to work with. These girls seem totally comfortable in front of the camera. And the little man, well, he just wanted to play. Can’t say I blame him. Anyway, here are a few of my personal favorites from our session on Saturday morning. I really love the first one of this beauty in front of the blue wall.

These pictures are from Sunday. I’m a little behind….sorry about that. It was a little chilly Sunday so these little ones were kind of cold. But they handled it much better than the adults. These were probably the most cooperative, sweet natured kids I’ve photographed. They were just so easy going and lovable. Here are a few of my favorites. I love the furry hood picture. So cute.

These two little ones were on this blog not that long ago. We resorted to candy to get these two to sit in one spot for more than two seconds. These are a wild pair. I love wild children. Really, I do.

This little one was feeling a little better today so we grabbed a few pictures. These girls are so funny. They are just all over the place at this age. Such a great workout. I know how their mommy stays so fit. I think the first one is my current new favorite picture.

This family is so much fun. These pictures will be Christmas surprises for the grandparents. We started at the beach where there was not one single cloud in the sky but there were lots of seagulls. Then we ended up in a little area in Freeport for a change of scenery and some shade. These little boys are so gorgeous. Look at his little glasses. And the little curly headed guy is the biggest two year old I’ve ever seen. I could have been perfectly content just to chase them around and take pictures of them, but the rest of the family wanted to get in on the fun too.
