So here I am again…behind on blogging! BUT…did you know that we got a new house?! So I’ll just use that as an excuse. Anyway, I was able to photograph this new mom a few weeks ago. Her twins were born two weeks ago and are doing great in spite of being a little early. They will make their appearance on this blog before too much longer.

You’ve seen these guys on this blog before and you’ll be seeing a lot more of them because…

Tyler is on the way!! Hooray!! I totally can’t wait to meet this little guy! He won’t be able to help being crazy cute. And I’m so lucky to be able to capture him in all of his cuteness when he arrives.

This is my friend Lindsey, her husband Matt, and little Patrick. And we let Daisy be in a few since she’s so cute and well behaved. ;-)

Patrick is busy right now growing and practicing his karate skills so you can’t really see him yet. But he’s in there and he is one busy little dude. We’re all looking forward to meeting Patrick but the last week or so Patrick has been making his mommy sit on the couch for fear that he was trying to come meet everyone a little too early. I think he’s settled down now.

And because I believe prayer is a powerful thing and because I don’t think Lindsey will mind, please join me in praying for little Patrick. He’ll be spending some time in the NICU after he’s born. He will need to be strong and brave and so will his parents.

Here are a few of my favorites from their session.

**Okay, I might not be spelling Aiden right.  I’ll come back and update this post if I’m spelling it wrong.**

I met with the cutest family this evening for some maternity/family pictures.  Mom and I went to high school together and were in the marching band together.  She was beautiful then and she’s even more beautiful now with a baby on the way.  I think Mom was probably supposed to be the star but Ryan kind of took over.  He is probably the easiest to photograph 4 year old that I have encountered yet.  He was just so amazing for the camera.  This kid may have a future in acting or modeling or something.  He takes direction so incredibly well.  WOW!!  And he quizzed me on Star Wars trivia.  I think maybe I passed.  Anyway, I totally love these pictures.  And as weird as it seems, I’m jealous because I want some cool pictures of my family.  If only I could get pictures like this with my boys.  (Sigh…)  Anyway, here are some of my favorites.

I just had to post a few more from Rachael’s maternity shoot on Saturday.  Had to.  These pictures of her are now in my “Till there was you” gallery.

I’ve been waiting to do a maternity session for a while now.  And this morning I got my wish.  I was so excited this morning I felt like a kid on Christmas.  This mom to be is just so beautiful and I’m sure their new daughter will be too.  Thank you both SO MUCH for letting me capture this precious time in your lives.
