This Sunday I participated as a vendor in a bridal show. This was the first bridal show I’ve been in and it was a great experience for me. It was pretty small so not much pressure. I talked to a lot of brides and gave out lots of (AWESOME) cards. So we’ll see what happens. Hopefully this bit of exposure will lead to some weddings in the near future. Here are a few pictures of some of my displays. These pictures are just from one table. I also had a slideshow going but I didn’t really get any good pictures of that.

I love these folded business cards. They were a big hit!

So here is a super quick sneak peek of my three favorite pictures from Charles and Megan’s wedding. Charles surprised Megan with a song in the last picture. It was really cool!

And it has been a long but exciting day and now I think I’ll go to bed!

I met with this stunning beauty this evening for her bridal portraits.

I mean, seriously! Can you imagine a more beautiful bride? Breathtaking.

I think the picture on the left here is where Megan unknowing got into an ant pile. We had a hard time getting all the ants off her dress. And the picture on the right is not an accident or a mistake. I did that on purpose and I think it’s pretty cool. Just trying something new.

I’m so looking forward to photographing her upcoming wedding! And I think I’m even more excited about the prospect of having a “Trash the Dress” session. That will be so cool!

These are from Brett and Jon’s wedding from a couple of weeks ago. I’m going through and editing LOTS of pictures and wanted to share a few funny ones. I really hope I don’t get in trouble for posting these….

Over the weekend Phillip and I were in the Dallas area photographing a wedding. This is the first time Phillip has shot with me and he was so AWESOME!! There is no way I could have gotten through this weekend without his help. I feel weird watermarking “j hintze photography” on some of these because Phillip took several of these. Looks like this is the first of many weddings that he and I will be doing together. I might have to change my business name. Anyway, here are a bunch of photos of the day.
First the girls had some things to do to get ready for the big day.

Then once everyone was ready there were lots more pictures to take.

No peeking.

And then there was the actual wedding. Phillip took these next two amazing shots. Look at those teary eyes as Jon sees his bride for the first time…priceless.

And then we partied….

And then we sent them off to their new life together.

It was a great weekend and a beautiful wedding. We feel honored to have been a part of it. And now that Jon has seen his beautiful bride, I can finally post some of her bridals. But I’ll do that in another post later today or tomorrow.

Right now I’m sitting in a hotel room thinking through today. It’s going to be a busy, exciting, tiring, potentially nerve wracking day. Phillip (my husband) and I are photographing a wedding in Dallas this weekend and today is the big day. I’ll be leaving in a little while to follow the girls around while they get their nails and hair done. The wedding is at 6:00 and the reception is scheduled to end at 11:00. So right now I’m just trying to relax, think through the details, and just looking forward to a full day. I’m glad Phillip is here doing this with me. And in the next few days we will have some cool pictures of this weekend to share as well as the bridals I took a few months ago.
So as I sit and think, I’ll leave you with this thoughtful picture of the bride and groom.
