Frequently asked questions:
Some of these questions are actually frequently asked and some are just for fun.
Q. Do you always wear flipflops?
A. Yes, pretty much, unless I’m barefoot or it’s really cold outside.
Q. Where are you located?
A. I live in Lake Jackson, TX, but I do not have a studio. I shoot on location anywhere in Brazoria County. For weddings, I am willing to travel.
Q. Do you think it’s cute for families to wear clothes that match such as denim and khaki or denim and white?
A. To tell you the truth, no, I don’t think it’s cute. I don’t find that to be representative of a true family. I think it’s overdone and dated. I’m probably not the right photographer for you if this is what you have in mind.
Q. How long have you been doing photography?
A. “Officially” about eight years. I spent lots of time taking pictures of my kids and friends and family before that. I’ve learned what I know from reading lots of books and getting some great advice from other photographers.
Q. What’s your sign?
Q. What’s the turnaround time?
A. For a family/child/senior session, you can expect your gallery up for viewing approximately one week after the session. And you will be able to download your digital files straight from your proofing gallery to your computer. I will email you a digitally signed photo release form. My turnaround for weddings is 4-6 weeks from the event.
Q. How is your name pronounced?
Q. Can I hold your camera?
Q. What is most challenging about photographing children?
A. Parents, please don’t take offense to this, but sometimes you are the most challenging part about photographing children. Sometimes parents may feel stressed at a session and I can usually get what I want more quickly (and more fun) if the parents step back and let me do my thing. If I need your help, I’ll ask. Just try to trust me. Not to toot my own horn, but I'm rather gifted with the kiddos. :-)
Q. Are you related to Donald Hintze?
A. I’m afraid so.
Q. Mac or PC?
