I wish I could show you more... Lake Jackson, TX boudoir photographer

Back in February, I did two Saturdays full of boudoir photos here at my home. It was so fun and the ladies, and myself, couldn't have been happier with the photos. For me and for my subjects, doing these photos was bold and empowering. And I think all of our confidence levels were boosted up several notches! I could go on and on. And I wish I could post lots of photos, but in an effort to maintain a relatively family friendly blog, I'll just leave you with these two. These are a couple of the tamest ones I could find. ;-)

If you're interested in boudoir photography for yourself, contact me for a gallery link. There are lots more photos there. Here is the pricing.

Bethany - senior 2012 - Lake Jackson, TX senior photographer

Bethany is so beautiful and was so relaxed to work with. After Bethany's session, I came home and wrote this on facebook... "When I get home from a shoot and I feel like I've truly captured the essence of the person I was working with, like really captured who they are, not just their clothes or their surroundings, I know again that I'm doing exactly what I'm meant to be doing." I just love these photos and I find them very relaxed and refreshing. I so love this job!

Annie - senior 2012 - Lake Jackson, TX senior photographer

I've had the privilege of working with this family a couple of other times in the last few years. It had been four years since I had seen Annie. I couldn't believe how much she's grown up! She's turned into such a lovely young lady. She brought lots of cool stuff with her to use and I just absolutely love how her photos have turned out. I had a super hard time narrowing it down for the blog. We went out to a couple of locations in East Columbia, TX that I hadn't used before. Her session was just very refreshing and fun! I get home from a session like this and I just have to pinch myself to make sure I'm not dreaming.

Brady walks - Lake Jackson, TX child photographer

Over Spring Break, we took our family of six to visit Phillip's brother and his family in Temple. It was very busy and I really didn't have a whole lot of opportunities to take many pictures. But we took a few minutes at the park to get some of Brady showing off his walking skills. We just love this baby so much! He lights up the room, or the park, in this case.

Ashley - senior 2012

I met up with Ashley a week ago for her senior pictures. The sky looked ominous, but we thought we would give it a go anyway. We did a few indoor shots and then the sky decided to turn on us and the rain started coming down. So... we met back up a few days later and finished up. Monday was a much more beautiful day for photos. Ashley is such a lovely girl and also super talented. I hope these photos capture the spirit of who she is.

The "middles" - Lake Jackson, TX child photographer

I recently set up one of my studio lights in our bedroom and got some pictures of our two middle children. Mikey is five and Brittany is almost four. They are good buddies and almost always together. They are affectionately known as "the middles."

I am loving our new bedroom setup. In January a friend helped me redo our bedroom. I wanted to do boudoir photos here at my home and I knew I needed a lovely space to do that in. I love how the room turned out. And the boudoir photos worked out GREAT in that room. I think it's pretty perfect.

Soon I will be posting info. about boidoir photos. Stay posted for that.

Perfect light - Lake Jackson, TX family photographer

So I'm skipping ahead with these guys. I'm kind of tired of my blog being so terribly behind! I'll go back and post some older stuff as I can find time. I've got several weddings I need to blog. Anyway... I met up with these guys last weekend. They were so much fun and the lighting was just beautiful at one of our local parks. I hope their love shines through in these photos!

Calling all adoptive families! - Lake Jackson, TX family photographer

Here is a photo of our family. We are made up of two parents, "the biological," "the middles," and "the little one." The "three littles" are adopted!

Adoption is very close to our heart and because of that, I'd like to bless some adoptive families. I'm going to choose about 3-5 adoptive families to receive a free session and edited images on CD ($600 value). There are no strings. There will be no cost whatsoever for those families. All I'm asking is that you send me an email with your adoption story and a snapshot of your family. You can send it to jhintze@jhintze.com. On or around February 13th, I will choose the families that I want to shoot. :-)

One of "the middles" - Lake Jackson, TX child photographer

Brittany and Mikey are known around here as "the middles." They are 15 months apart, stuck in between our two other kids. They are joined at the hip most of the time. They have conversations that we can't follow. They play games that we don't understand. They hold hands and walk through the yard for no apparent reason. Mikey calls her "Britt" and Brittany calls him "Mike." I believe they will be lifelong friends. It's been really cool to witness over this past year.
